What the statuses mean

Four answers you might get.

  • Active

Subscription current. We show the expiry date and days left so you can plan the renewal.

  • Expiring soon

Fewer than 28 days left. A renew link appears. Renew before the next race, not at the gate.

  • Expired

No active subscription. Laps won't record until it's renewed. In the app this is a warning, never a block on entering.

  • Lifelong

Some transponders never need a subscription. Nothing to do.

Where to find the number

On the transponder itself.

The ID is printed on the transponder body: two letters, a dash, five digits. It's the same number you add to each bike in Pedal Pass. Mini-wheelers and sprockets race without one.

Renewing

Renew with MyLaps.

Subscriptions are managed by MyLaps, not by Pedal Pass. The renew link takes you straight to their store. Once renewed, check again here and the status updates live.

Checked for you, every time.

Add the transponder to a bike in Pedal Pass and it's verified automatically. The Riders page flags anyone who needs attention before race day, and you're warned 28 days before expiry.
